Guy Glazier and Laura Yee’s paths crossed during a multi-party deposition in 2003. At the time, Guy and Laura worked for different law firms – Guy was the owner of a boutique law firm in Los Angeles and Laura was a senior associate for a national law firm based in Cleveland, Ohio – and represented different aviation product manufacturers. Throughout the course of this week-long deposition, Guy and Laura developed a mutual appreciation of each other’s litigation approach and cross-examination style – confident, assertive, and strategy driven. Over the next several years, Guy and Laura combined their efforts to comprehensively defend the aviation industry in both product and premises liability cases nationwide. Their collective aviation-product knowledge, litigation skill sets, tireless advocacy and pure grit created a synergistic success that could not be denied. In 2012, Guy and Laura opened the doors of their own law firm: Glazier Yee, LLP.

Laura Yee
Laura or “Lo” – is deeply invested in her clients’ success. She loves fighting — and winning — on their behalf. Her approach to litigation is to look at both the immediate picture and the bigger picture to provide the best result for the client both in the short and long term.
After earning her law degree from Golden Gate University School of Law, Lo found she had a knack for asbestos litigation. She quickly distinguished herself in this area of law, enjoying both the tactical aspects of litigation and working to learn the products she was defending.
Based in San Francisco, she supervises the firm’s toxic tort practice group and manages asbestos matters as national coordinating counsel for multiple aerospace product manufacturers.
Over the course of her career, Lo has developed a superior technical understanding of aircraft and spacecraft systems, products, and manufacturing and maintenance procedures. She relishes the challenge of mastering complex and sophisticated products and systems and using that in-depth knowledge to deny her litigation opponents any chance of success.
Guy Glazier
Long before he became an attorney, Guy had plans to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a fighter pilot. When his vision disqualified him from pilot training during his senior year of college, he set his sights on a new career path: the law.
Out of college, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a combat engineer officer. He was tipped off to the existence of, and ultimately took part in, the Funded Law Education Program, which allowed him to pursue law school at Georgetown University while still receiving a paycheck as a junior officer.
While he had no plans in high school or college to become a lawyer, he now says it’s the best thing he’s ever done.
Like Lo, Guy is committed to providing winning results for clients. He enjoys having the autonomy to craft a victory strategy for clients and seeing it through.
Based in Los Angeles, Guy has focused his more than two-decade career on trial work and counseling businesses. He has tried both civil and criminal cases, acting as lead counsel in more than 50 jury trials.
Following Law School and Naval Justice School, he served as a judge advocate for six years, during which he prosecuted several murder cases including one capital case and defended several assault, drug, and firearms cases. In 1998, he earned his master’s degree from the Army Judge Advocate General’s School in Charlottesville, Virginia, with a specialty in criminal law.
He was the Distinguished Graduate of his class and awarded Best Thesis for his in-depth publication on jury selection at the Army Judge Advocate General’s School, an honor which he considers to be one of his most significant life achievements. The achievement demonstrates his commitment to excellence and hard work, his understanding of complex and diverse legal issues, and his ability to perform on that commitment and understanding. He brings these attributes to bear on behalf of his clients every day.
After his service as a judge advocate, Guy quickly ascended ranks at a white shoe law firm in Los Angeles. Guy left Big Law to start his own firm – he knew that he could better serve his clients in a boutique setting.
Under Guy and Lo’s leadership, the attorneys of Glazier Yee have built a practice and a reputation for aggressive commitment to their clients and an eye toward innovative approaches to litigation.
